Swans head south for sun

With an exodus of star players to various far-flung corners of the globe, Selby RUFC will be relying on their up-and-coming youngsters along with some overseas input when their new season kicks off at home to high-flyers Castleford on Saturday.

Following their strong finish to the 2009/10 campaign, the Sandhill Lane club has somewhat resembled an airport terminal during the summer.

Several players are heading south for places in the sun, but newly-married Andy Gabel has bucked the trend by moving north to Newcastle, where he has worked for some time and where he will be living with wife Rachael.
