Rugby training set for schools

SELBY Warriors will be laying on training sessions after receiving funding from Sport England.

The sessions will take place for 10 weeks and will take in three schools in the area.

The after-school training has already started at Barlby High school (every Tuesdays), whilst the Warriors’ coaches will also be at Brayton High School every Monday (starting February 4) and Selby High school every Wednesday (starting February 6).

Meanwhile, the Warriors’ have been drawn against Undercliffe Wildboars round three of the Andrew Bennett Memorial Trophy.

They host the West Yorkshire side on February 9, as they look to progress in the competition they won back in 2011.
