A brace apiece from Laura Whitaker and Anya Limbert ensured a convincing victory for Belles who were two up within the first four minutes of this open-age game. In a fine team effort, player of the week was Kelly Walker for a commanding defensive display while Jade Roche had to come off injured and Melissa Till headed just over the bar.

Emily Owen scored an excellent goal from distance as Belles began to find their shape and rhythm against the runaway leaders who have averaged 11 goals a game and conceded none. The scoreline was harsh on Brayton who were considered by the opposition manager as the best team they had played.
