After a gruelling season of gaining ranking points just to earn the right to attend the England trials, Selby Viper Kirsten MacGregor finally earned her place in the U18s girls ten-pin bowling squad to play in this season's Triple Crown in Wales from August 21-25.
The trials were played over 16 games in Romford where Kirsten led the field at the halfway point before a dip in form saw her drop to fifth, still good enough to make the six-strong squad taking on the best of Scotland, Ireland and Wales in August.
