Hemingbrough-based football hero Jonny Howson provided a key moment in setting Leeds United back on track in League One after a winless run.
Both goals came from top scorer Jermaine Beckford as the Whites beat off Colchester United 2-0 at Elland Road, but it was his second – and 24th of the campaign – that sealed matters ten minutes after the break after a shot on the turn from Howson had deflected against the far post.
