Things are shaping up nicely for the Selby Times Select cricket team as they prepare for a forthcoming match in aid of local charities.
The team of journalists, whose numbers are being made up by friends and contacts including star comedian Tommy Cannon, will now look the part thanks to sponsorship of shirts from Selby firm Mean Design, of The Crescent.
The Times will be taking on village side Burn, currently riding high in Division 1 of the York Vale League and with years of experience behind them.
