A nine-year-old Selby Abbey Primary School pupil has become something of a hot striker for Doncaster Rovers Belles for whom she plays at junior level.
Emily Brown made a big impression at a Birmingham trials event where she notched what was considered an unusually high score for a girl.
Mum Claire, who lives in Abbots Road and is a supervisor at Camblesforth-based Yorkshire Fresh Fruit, described her as a "very good striker".
