STAFF and pupils at Fieldside Day Nursery in Great Heck are celebrating receiving a gleaming Ofsted report.
The childcare provider was graded as outstanding in promoting inclusive practice, its partnership with parents, helping children to be healthy, achieve and make a positive contribution, and good in all other areas.

Owner Gail Hope said: "We're delighted with the report, particularly that we were marked as outstanding for our relationship with parents, which is something we work very hard on.

"All staff members are enthusiastic and eager to develop their training and qualifications to improve the care provided to our children, and I'm delighted the inspector's positive comments reflect that."

The nursery – which has 109 children on its register and employs 15 staff members – was also praised for its 'harmonious atmosphere'.

Ofsted inspector Diane Turner reported: "Children's personal, social and emotional development is fostered very well on all levels, with the environment organised to encourage their independence and to help them develop practical life skills."
