Volunteers needed for organisations
SELBY District Volunteer Centre will be holding drop-in sessions for people interested in volunteering at Sherburn library next week.
The Sherburn session will be held next Thursday, 2pm-4.30pm, and is intended to help match volunteers to organisations, so if you want to find out about volunteering or have skills and experience to share with others do come and find out more about how you could be involved.
If you are an organisation looking to recruit volunteers they can be helped too, by promoting what you do and reaching out via their website to lots of different people interested in volunteering at www.selbydistrictvolunteercentre.org.uk website.
There are lots of different volunteering activities to choose from ranging from driving, befriending and mentoring, to helping outdoors on environment and conservation projects and helping organisations with their promotion and marketing.
