District fitness instructor Kelly Mullikin has organised a Zumbathon in aid for Help For Heroes.

The event takes place on Sunday at Tadcaster Leisure Centre, between 1 and 4pm, and will be lead by Kelly and four other instructors from across the region – Claire McGarry, Amy Bland, Louise Jay & Laura Jane Hewson.

She said: “This is a chance to have fun, burn calories and raise money for Help For Heroes all at the same time!

“Zumba is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party.

“This Zumbathon will be a three hour non-stop Zumba party, but don’t panic! You can do as much or little as you like as long as you’re having fun!

“It doesn’t matter if you have been attending classes, or if you are a complete beginner you will soon pick up the steps.

Entry will be £10 in advance, or £15 on the door. Please purchase your tickets from me in class, from Tadcaster Leisure Centre or via the Just Giving Page – a £10 Donation will class as your ‘ticket’ and you can donate at this link – http://www.justgiving.com/kmfitness/eurl.axd/7c679ea6551bf74cbd672d4d0fb6c037

“It will be a great day and it’s for such a good cause, and, even better, it’s good for you as well!
