Tickets still available for Selby Hands of Hope fundraiser

RACE NIGHT: Race nightb to raise funds for Selby Hands of Hope.

TICKETS for tomorrow’s exciting fund-raising race night for Selby Times-backed Selby Hands of Hope charity are still available.

The race night takes place at Selby Working Men’s Club from 7pm and goes on until late and includes a disco with DJ Ollie and buffet. Tickets are £10 and are available from Selby Times office in Gowthorpe or on the door on the night.

There will be eight live races on a big screen and prizes are available for winners. Last year proved a huge success and organisers are hoping for the public to turn out once again for this local charity providing vital funds for local good causes.

SHOH chairwoman Wendy Singh said: “I urge as many people as possible to join us for this great local cause. It should be a great night once again.”

Other SHOH fund-raisers this month include Father Christmas at Drax Power at Drax Nature Reserve and Skylark Centre on December 2, 9 and 16, between 11am to 4pm. Entry is £2 per child and each will receive a Christmas stocking. Also on December 8 there will be a SHOH fund-raising bag packing session.
