Pupils at The Read School collect their GCSE results.

BRIGHT students at Queen Margaret’s School in Escrick are once again celebrating their outstanding exam success.

The talented girls recorded a 100 per cent pass rate, with over 85 per cent of entrants gaining grades A*, A or B and one third of candidates receiving ten or more A/A* grades, QM girls can be justly proud of their achievements.

Head teacher of Queen Margaret’s, Dr Paul Silverwood, said: “The girls’ excellent results at GCSE are consistent with the high standards they have set themselves throughout the last two years and cover the full range of academic disciplines.

These results will enable the girls to go on to Advanced Level study with confidence and encourage them to set themselves the target of achieving places at top universities. We wish all the candidates every future success.”
