Selby woman defrauds district council

A SELBY woman who defrauded the district council appeared before Selby magistrates on Tuesday (January 15).

Kelly Robey pleaded guilty to fraudulently claiming more than £9,000 in benefits from SDC and the Department for Work and Pensions.

Robey, 23 of Deacon Court, Selby, was sentenced to a Community Penalty with a supervision order for six months and ordered to pay £390 towards the Council’s costs.
