Selby MP John Grogan among those stranded by flights ban
SELBY MP John Grogan is struggling back to Britain from the Ukraine after all flights were cancelled as ash from the Icelandic volcano spread across eastern Europe.
He caught the last flight from Lvov, where he was addressing a conference, to Vienna before boarding a train from Frankfurt to Brussels.
He said: "I'll be back in Selby as soon as possible to help with the election and catch up with the cricket!"
