Search for precious items
A musician staying at the Parsonage Hotel in Escrick at the weekend was stunned to find precious personal items had been stolen.
Tomas Callister, 20, a musician from the Isle of Man, was shocked to find his car had been broken into on his first visit to the village and some of his prized guitars and other personal effects had been taken.
He said: “Some of the items are very dear to me, and I want to do everything within my power to have them returned to me. This is my first trip to Escrick, can you please help in any way you can?”
He added: “These items add up to about £10,000 and they were in my Ford Focus in the car park, which seems to be the only car that was targeted. I was lucky I had my fiddle with me in the bedroom, but my musical partner Adam Rhodes who plays the bouzouki was not so lucky.”
The missing items included a Nigel Forster guitar bouzouki (including RMC divided pickup, Michael Sanden guitar flight case containing a BOSS FV-500L, BOSS OC-20G, RMC PolyDrive II Preamp, Line6 M9 Effects Pedal, ElectroHarmonix Micro POG, LR Baggs Venue DI, Ebow, Trex Fuel Tank Junior Power Supply, a large grey suitcase containing clothes and a purple North Face holdall.
