Rawcliffe marquee day looming large

This summer’s Rawcliffe Festival is fast approaching and organisers are on the lookout for stallholders.

The festival will start on Saturday, June 8 and finish with Festival Day on Saturday, June 15.

Most things are still in the early planning stage, but the intention is to stage a Festival similar to recent years, with a football tournament in Rawcliffe Bridge on the first Saturday, a fishing event at Sugar Mill Ponds on the Sunday, various events on the Monday to Friday, and the main Festival Day on the second Saturday.
