Lone furrows will be ploughed when Selby Ploughing Match takes place in Brayton on Sunday.

The annual event takes place from 11am in Barff Lane.

Competitions taking place at the event include heavy horses and tractors, and attractions include raffle and tombola, refreshments and bar facilities.

Entry is £5 per person, children under 16 get in free. All proceeds go to Martin House Children’s Hospice and Macmillamn Nurses.
