Police name victim of fatal road traffic collision on A645 between Rawcliffe Bridge and Drax

POLICE have named the man who died in a fatal road traffic collision on the A645 between Drax and Rawcliffe Bridge on Friday evening.

The fatality occurred at about 6.50pm on the A645 approximately one mile north of the junction with the A614 near Rawcliffe.

The car, a silver coloured Renault Twingo which was travelling south towards the A 614 left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver, named as Craig MOORE ( 34) of Stainforth, Doncaster, was very sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and for people who saw the car being driven prior to the collision taking place. Police would particularly like to speak to the occupants of two VW Golf motor cars who stopped to assist at the scene.

Witnesses are asked to contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 557 of January 11 2013.
