SELBY and Ainsty MP Nigel Adams will be officially opening the Riccall Carers organisation’s new training suite next Tuesday.
The event runs between 1.30 and 3.30pm at the Carers’ base on the Escrick Business Park. The ribbon will be cut at 2pm.
A spokeswoman for Riccall Carers said: “Training is a vital component of our success, and our offices at Escrick include a dedicated training suite that we use for our own staff, but are launching to offer courses to other organisations and individuals who could benefit from the high calibre training on offer.
“Our training gives carers the skills and knowledge to handle their roles with increased confidence. As well as practical advice and information, we train in the soft skills required for caring for the elderly or people with dementia.”
