Missing teen who ‘fell asleep’ on train is believed found safe and well
A TEENAGER from Selby who police said vanished after falling asleep on a train has apparently been found safe and well.
Aden Scott Blackman is believed to have turned up at a hostel in Whitechapel, London.
North Yorkshire Police could not confirm whether it was the 19-year-old. A spokesman said they were waiting for confirmation from the Metropolitan Police in London.
Aden, who is also known as Billy Blackman, had last been seen at Hull train station on the evening of Wednesday October 10. He was due to catch a train to Selby.
But he never arrived in the town and subsequently rang his family to say he had fallen asleep on the train and ended up at King’s Cross station in London.
His family transferred money to him so he could catch a train home the following day.
But Aden did not return home and did not contact his family. His disappearance was reported to the police last weekend.
