Man, 85, court
AN 85-YEAR-old Selby man has been found guilty of driving without due care and attention.
Horst Ewald, of Wells Close, drove a Peugeot 406 on the B1222 between Sherburn and Cawood on October 15 last year in a way that concerned police officers.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared in court on April 12 this year. However, he was found guilty of the offence at a hearing last Friday at Selby Magistrates Court.
Ewald was fined £165 and had three points put on his driving licence.
