Link-up for beach body

HOLIDAYMAKERS keen to be the envy of the beach can take advantage of a link-up between a Selby fitness expert and Co-operative Travel.

The perfect beach body could be within reach for sunseekers booking their break with the Co-operative travel agent on Gowthorpe.

That is thanks to Fit4Life Academy boss Jamie Broughton, who has joined forces with the Co-operative to offer anyone booking a holiday with them a free experience week at any of his venues.

Jamie has been building himself a big reputation around Selby district through achieving life-changing results for clients with his rapid fat-loss nutrition plan and exercise regime.

He has recently finished the Selby’s Biggest Loser competition, run exclusively with the Selby Times, in which the winner, Robert Peters, lost nearly three-and-a-half stone and 13 inches from around his waist in 12 weeks.

Jamie said: “Summer has come round once again and it’s that time when we dream of being on a nice beach somewhere sunny. To go with the holiday, though, we all like to look and feel great prior to setting off. I book all my holidays with the Co-op and have been to some amazing places thanks to them.

“I thought why not see if they would be interested in offering out my services as a goodwill gesture to anyone who books with them. As soon as the holiday is booked the first thing that comes to mind with anybody is wanting to look good when you’re there. I have offered anyone who would like to get in shape an experience week at any of my venues to see first hand what my training is all about. A week doesn’t sound a lot but I regularly get half a stone off people in this time period. Once the week is completed, then it is the holidaymaker’s choice whether or not they would like to continue training. If not then you have received a week of training for free and a loss of anywhere between three and seven pounds.”

A spokeswoman for Co-operative: “We are really thrilled to team up with Jamie. We have seen the fantastic results he achieves with his clients and are really pleased to be able to offer this experience to our clients. It’s a perfect situation for us as most people want to get in shape before their holidays, so now they have a great opportunity to do so. We feel that we are offering our clients a little token of our appreciation for purchasing a holiday with the Co-op. Go on holiday, and get in great shape at the same time, it’s a win-win situation.”
