SNAITH School is over the moon following this year’s results – they represent the school’s best ever achievement at GCSE.
Headteacher Jean Pickerill said: “The GCSE results for The Snaith School in 2012 are absolutely fantastic – the best ever results for the school and we are really delighted and 72.4 per cent of pupils have achieved the gold standard of five A* to C grades including English and mathematics and this is an improvement of over ten per cent on last year.
“In addition, 90 per cent of pupils have achieved five or more GCSEs at grade C or above, again an improvement on last year.
“The results achieved are down to the hard work of pupils and staff working together with parents – a real team effort.
“Congratulations to all our pupils all of whom can now go on to the next stage of their careers with a great foundation for the future. Well done.”
