FLOODING issues look to be settling down for the Selby region heading into the weekend.
Good news is that the levels at both River Ouse and Derwent are slowly dropping as of Friday evening.
Properties on Back Lane at Acaster Selby are being monitored in the coming days, with the threat of flooding still a possibility.
Cawood Bridge remains closed whilst other areas including parts of Fairburn and North Duffield remain passable with care.
The Environment Agency had in place 13 flood warnings across the Yorkshire region as of 5pm Friday, a drop from 16 earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, Train services passing through Selby are still prone to minor delays and disruptions so passengers are advised to check their journeys before travelling.
You can follow all the latest news by visiting the websites of the Enviornment Agency and North Yorkshire Police.
