Five offences
A 24-YEAR-old Selby man will be sentenced next month on five motoring offences.
Stuart Wood, of Charles Street, pleaded guilty to the quintet of charges when he appeared at Selby Magistrates Court.
The offences took place on August 6 at about 11.50pm.
They are: taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent from an address in Wigginton and then driving it dangerously on Hurricane Way in York, dangerous driving on Hurricane Way, driving while disqualified, refusing to stop for police, and driving without insurance.
The vehicle he took was a BMW 3 Series.
Wood is scheduled to be sentenced for the offences when he appears at York Crown Court on October 19.
