Eggborough car collision
CARELESS driving was to blame for a road traffic collision involving three cars in Eggborough last week.
The incident ocurred at High Eggborough Road and happened when a car tried to overtake at high-speeds.
Two engines from Selby Fire Station attended after the call was made shortly after 8.40pm on Thursday night.
Two further engines from Humberside Fire Service also attended the scene.
There were no persons trapped in any of the cars, but one casualty was treated by paramedics for minor facial injuries.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the incident’s catalyst was “dangerous driving” and that two of the cars involved were a Citroen and a Peugeot.
