Charity night will be a drag
SELBY Hands of Hope have announced details of a forthcoming event that promises to be quite a spectacle
The charity have finalised plans for a special ‘Dreamgirls Budgiecage’ evening on March 23 at Drax Sports and Social club.
The evening will consist of drag act Dreamgirls bringing their show to the people of Selby, all in aid of a good cause.
SHOH chairwoman Wendy Singh says that the night is sure to be spectacular.
She said: “The evening will have a mixture of entertainment, with something for everybody.
“The group usually do big shows that are well-attended in Blackpool and have generously agreed to come to Drax for what we hope will be a fun-filled evening.”
Tickets, which will cost £10, are available by either ringing Wendy on 01757 213711, or by calling into the Selby Times offices.
* MEANWHILE, the Selby Times-backed charity are also appealing for any unwanted Christmas gifts to be donated.
The charity is looking for toys, books and any other gifts that are no longer used, so that they can distribute them accordingly.
Donations can be handed in to the Selby Times offices, located on Gowthorpe.
