Burglary at Skipwith police appeal
CRIME: Crime scene.
SELBY police are appealing for information after an outbuilding was broken into at Skipwith Hall.
Some unusual and sentimental items were stolen during the burglary which occurred sometime overnight between Wednesday 30 January and Thursday 31 January 2013.
Amongst the items stolen were an African rug, a pair of children’s Apache Indian boots, a silk Japanese kimono, and a pair of ankle bracelets.
Officers have released images of the stolen items in an effort to trace them and have them returned.
Anyone who recognises the stolen items or witnessed any suspicious activity in Skipwith around the time of the incident, is urged to get in touch with the police or Crimestoppers with information.
