A RAINBOW of colours greeted judges during this year’s Selby Times sponsored town council-run Selby In Bloom 2012 competition.

Town Hall employee and competition organiser Carolyn Richardson said there were fewer entries this year because of the bad weather, but the standard of entry remained “pleasingly high”.
