A BIKER caught by North Yorkshire Police has pleaded guilty to speeding at 144mph.

Gary Dobson, 40, submitted a guilty plea by post to Selby Magistrates Court last Thursday. He will be sentenced today. Dobson, who lives in Halifax, was caught travelling at 144mph on the A63 at South Milford on his BMW RR1000 motorcycle on October 7. His was among a group of speeding offences dealt with by the court – John Watts was fined £320 and disqualified from driving for 21 days and Emma Brown was disqualified for seven days and fined £160 after admitting doing 103mph.
