HAPLESS thieves escaped empty handed after trying to break into a property in Selby.

The incident happened overnight between March 2 and 3, when thieves tried to break into The Courtneys.

Signs of a forced entry were visible on the bottom of the side door. If you have any information please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
