DOZENS of air cadets marched through Selby yesterday to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of their formation in 1941.

The cadets, who were all from squadrons within 4 Sector of the Central and East Yorkshire Wing, then went on to a service in Selby Abbey.

The cadets were from squadrons in York, Ripon, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Easingwold and RAF Church Fenton.
