Traffic bulletin - M62 westbound delays, junction 35

THERE are currently delays on the westbound M62 at West Cowick due to an earlier car transporter fire between junction 35 and 34.

Lane one and two are closed for recovery of the car transporter and its load of cars. Lane three is open passed the scene and delays are back to junction 35.

Recovery is expected to take until late afternoon. The Highways Agency has set signs across the region advising of the delays and drivers should use alternative routes if possible.

The eastbound carriageway is not affected.
