NEW York six-piece White Rabbits release their hotly-anticipated new album It's Frightening.
Featuring two drummers and three dingers together with Brian Betancourt's bass playing, this is a band infused with raw energy, as witnessed by their highly-charged live performances.

When I first heard Percussion Gun by White Rabbits my initial thought was the Adam and the Ants revival was about to kick-off with a vengeance.

Check it out, it's the Kings of the Wilds Frontier meets Radiohead. The damn song has been stuck in mind for days, and it's frightening what an undiscovered pop gem it is.

This is the Wabbits' second album, coming hot on the back of their excellent debut Fort Nightly. The particular New York borough where these boys are from must be getting very crowded with neighbours Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, the Antlers and a host of others all plying their trade in style.

It's becoming the epicentre of the American indie scene, and appears to have a neighbourhood alchemy that can churn out the most inventive bands on the planet at the moment.

White Rabbits are less complex and original than the aforementioned groups, but no worse for it. They're a wonderful pop/rock band, who major on the catchy chorus and driving riffs. If anything, it eclipses Fort Nightly in many respects, and is a clear sign White Rabbits still have room to expand in their musical hutch, which is a joy for all pet lovers!

Release Date: January 11 and 25 respectively
