WHAT a fantastic discovery Hush Arbors are!
Keith Wood and constant foil Leon Dufficy have released on of the undiscovered gems of the year in the form of Ecstatic Peace.

There's strong references here to Neil Young and some of his quirkier 60s counterparts, but nothing easily sums up the s
heer genius that is are aforementioned duo.

I dare anyone to play Rue Hollow and not fall instantly in love with these men and their music. Wood's vocals are from another time, another place. They echo with the experience of years but are as fresh and inspiring as anything new you're currently listening too.

At times heavy on the fazed guitars, at others as psychedelic as The Byrds. Then there's the soft, gentle vocals of Nick Drake. It's a wonderful, heady mix I became addicted to the moment I first played the album. Where has this band been all my life and why aren't they better known than they currently are? If there's any justice in this life we will see Hush Arbors revered as one of the greatest bands of the new millennium. I know that sounds a bit heavy, but there's nothing not to like about this wonderful music, and it flies straight into my top ten of 2008. What a brilliant discovery!
