THE TRUTH is out there –and that's official!
A raft of government documents were released this week that shed new light on close encounters in skies across Yorkshire, including reports of UFOs hovering above our heads.

The documents, released online on Monday, cover a 15-year period that include 14 sightings, letters and even parliamentary questions on mystery objects.

But UFO enthusiast Russ Kellett (right), who hails Selby district a "hot spot" for such sightings, believes not all information has been
made available.

"It's interesting for people to read what has been going on, and any information that's made available is welcome.

"However, this isn't the Holy Grail – we want to see much more of the files that haven't been made public. The truth is we're not alone and we know that for a fact."

He claims mysterious crafts continue to be seen over and landing on the A19 near Selby, with more than 70 sightings this year alone. And he intends to use an image of the 'Selby Saucer' at his three-day UFO conference in Scarborough later this year.

Russ explained: "The Selby Saucer (pictured) is one of the best-ever sightings. It's absolutely unbelievable and will form the showpiece at the conference."

Visit website www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ufos to download the files. They're free to access for a month.
