Pollington man charged with murder

A 68-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder after the death of a Pollington woman.
Humberside Police were called to an address at Waterway Garth in the village at 8.57am on Friday (March 5).

Jill Rosemary Ault, 63, had been injured following an alleged assault inside the address, and was taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield with life threatening injuries. She sadly died at 10.19am en route to hospital.
Officers arrested David Gerald Ault, 68, of the same address, at the scene and he was taken into police custody for questioning.

He has now been charged with murder and detained in custody until his appearance at Beverley Magistrates Court on Monday morning (March 8).

Officers aren't looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
