DRAGONS, damsels and danger are promised when out-of-school children's Bruff Club holds its half-term activities in two weeks.
The club, based at the Cricket Pavilion in School Road, Hemingbrough, will turn the centre into a medieval castle from February 15 to 19.
Assistant manager Amy Gannon said: "We have lots of things planned for half-term. On Monday, we will be transforming the Bruff Club into a medieval Castle, complete with a throne room, dungeon and banquet room.
"During the past few weeks, the children have had the scissors, cardboard and paint out in preparation for the event, although donations of cardboard and other craft materials will be greatly received.
"On Tuesday, we will be designing and making medieval costumes, including tiaras and princess hats, swords and shields.
"On Wednesday, we have a fencing demonstration team visiting the club, and on Thursday, join us for a royal treasure hunt around Ye Olde Hemingbrough, when you will need to complete tasks to collect the golden coins, fill the treasure chest and win a prize.
"On Friday, join in our royal procession, medieval party games and royal banquet. Fees are £15 for a half-day session (8am to 1pm or 1 to 6pm); £25 for a full-day session (8am to 6pm).
"There are only 16 places available each day, and how fantastic it's going to be!"
