Grin and bare it naked ambition for nude Kellington calendar

BRAVE staff at an award-winning district business have been baring all in the name of charity!

Taking a fig leaf out of the Calendar Girls' book, Kellington Manor owner Sue Papworth enlisted the support of 12 workers to shed their inhibitions – and a few items of clothing – to coin in the cash for cancer services at St James's Hospital in Leeds.

With only a few strategically placed culinary or cooking objects to spare their blushes, the 11 women and two men still kept their smile on to pose for the saucy shots.

Even Sue's dad David Chisem is pictured on the front of the calendar, while keen amateur photographer husband and business co-owner Andrew took the pictures.

Sue said: "One of our regular customers underwent major cancer surgery in May this year and was in hospital for a long time.

"He was the main source of inspiration for us to do this, but my aunt Doris Fox from Snaith has also undergone cancer treatment at the same hospital.

"Everyone I asked was up for it, and I can't thank them enough for taking the plunge for such a good cause. And, of course, it's done in the best possible taste!"

Those featured in the calendar are: Zoe Ward (January), Sarah Lloyd (February), Rebecca Tune (March), Edi Marsh (April), Ian Tobbell and James Yates (May), Stephanie Carr (June), Sarah Whittles (July), Nicola Davis (August), Rachael Whittles (September), Holly Henderson (October), Sue Papworth (November) and Laura Johnson (December).

Sponsors are John Smiths Brewery, Windsor Food Services and the Lionheart Appeal Fund.

All 60 calendars have already been sold, with more now being printed. Priced 10, they can be bought from the Whales Lane business or by calling 01977 661000.
