Dancer in spotlight

TRACEY Harrison danced her way to our Selby Times Community Pride Unsung Hero Award, sponsored by Wetherells.

Tracey is a well known local fitness trainer, qualified and licensed in many fitness disciplines.

The lady who nominated Tracey said: “In my quest to improve my fitness I met Tracey by going along to one of her Zumba classes I also tried many other classes around the area – and there are plenty to choose from!”

She settled with Tracey’s class, adding that she has: “Such a passion for fitness and exercise and for teaching and sharing this with others.

She added: “She is truly infectious and inspirational to so many people.

“She is always willing to give up her time for good causes and local charities by taking the lead in several fundraising Zumbathons around the Selby area and has truly made a difference to my fitness.”

Tracey said: “I’m totally stunned and thrilled – I really can’t believe it! Helping people get fit is a bit of a responsibility – I certainly take it very seriously – but it’s also a great deal of fun.”
